» How does AffiliateRunner’s Cost-Per Sale tracking technology work?
Affiliates place banner and text links on their websites. When a websurfer clicks a link, he is redirected to the Merchant website and the following happens:
  - This action is recorded by AffiliateRunner.
  - A cookie is established on the Websurfer’s computer
When the Websurfer makes a purchase:
  - The cookie on his computer informs AffiliateRunner of this action.
  - The appropriate commission is calculated by AffiliateRunner.
  - The Merchant and Affiliate are informed via e-mail of the sale and the commission owed.
» What if the purchaser makes his purchase at a later date?
Due to the use of cookies, AffiliateRunner is able to track sales that happen at a later date. If a websurfer clicks a link, then makes a purchase a few months later, the Affiliate will have earned commissions for this sale.

» Is Cost-per-Click tracking available?
Yes. CPC tracking, by which an Affiliate is paid every time a unique user clicks on the link, is also available. When a websurfer clicks on the link, this activity is recorded by AffiliateRunner. If someone clicks the link a second time from the same computer, this activity is NOT recorded. The Merchant is thus protected from fraud.

» What is Cost-Per-Lead tracking?
Some Merchants are not trying to sell a product, but instead are trying to get Websurfers to perform another action, such as registering for an eNewsletter or another service. CPL tracking operates in the same way as Cost-Per-Sale tracking, but commissions are earned when the Websurfer performs the desired action.
top
» Can Affiliates promote our site in email messages?
E-mail referrals are an excellent way to generate sales! Affiliates can place banners or text links into e-mails. Link activity is tracked in the same way.
top
» How do Merchants and Affiliates follow their progress?
Merchants and Affiliates can access their sales records at the AffiliateRunner website on their Personal Profile Pages.
top
» Does the Affiliate receive commissions on sales that are made over the phone or via fax?
The AffiliateRunner tracking system automatically registers sales that are made via internet only. It is possible for the Merchant to manually register sales that are made via phone or fax.
top
» How do Affiliates receive commission payments?
At the end of each month, the Merchant and Affiliate will receive a summary of all activity for that period. Commission payments should be made monthly. The Merchant makes payments by company check, wire transfer, or direct deposit.
top
» Can the Merchant pay Affiliates only when they reach a certain amount of sales revenues?
Yes. This must be specified to the Affiliate, so as to avoid any confusion.

Does AffiliateRunner find Affiliates for the Merchant?

The Merchants must seek and register their own Affiliates. But we do offer a related service.
top
» Can the Merchant remove Affiliates from the program?
The Merchant has full control over who is allowed to participate. An affiliate can be removed either temporarily or permanently at any time. However, all outstanding commission payments must be made.
top
» What is a 2-tier commision?
When an Affiliate refers a new Affiliate to the Merchant, who signs up for the program, the 1st Affiliate makes a small commission off the 2nd one’s sales. In this way, Affiliates are encouraged to find the Merchant new partners.
top
» Is AffiliateRunner compatible with my shopping cart provider?
We do our best to make AffiliateRunner compatible with 3rd party Shopping Cart providers. Setting up the system takes personal attention. We assist Merchants in getting set up.
top
» When can I start signing up Affiliates?

top
» Is there a limit to the number of Affiliates I can have?
The number of affiliates possible depends on your account type.
top
» Do I have to commit to your service for a certain amount of time?

top
» How much does it cost to sign up?

top

top
